What's in the Sunflower Bliss Collection from Eureka & Orchid and Opal?

We started this year with a collection collab with Gina from Orchid and Opal, and it’s high time we had another one! Thankfully, Gina has agreed to share her incredible creativity with us again, and this is how we got the Sunflower Bliss Collection!

Eureka + Orchid and Opal August 2024 Sunflower Bliss Beads Collection has just so much to offer to anyone who loves beading, floral motifs and warm tones. The leading colors are: sunflower yellow, shades of orange and brown, earthy greens, hot warm reds and black, just like the center of a sunflower.

In this collection, you will find a number of components that any collection must have to be pretty+practical: you have 3 tubes of round 11/0s—2x Miyuki, 1x Toho; 2 tubes of 15/0s (one is a mix for more excitement!), and a tube of Delicas. There’s a custom mix of Preciosa bicones, and there are crystal stones: 3 ELITE rivolis and some Krakovski chatons, too. You have a practical set of 3 sizes of Firepolish beads, and a selection of 2-hole Czech beads, this time including: MiniDuos, Triangle beads and Bar beads.

An interesting addition to the Czech Beads section is the strand of 2-hole Sunflower beads, which are sure to get your creative juices flowing, and a large round Lunasoft lucite cabochon, which can inspire both bead weaving and embroidery projects.

Naturally, every collection has to have findings. For this section, Gina chose classic and always matching gold-plated French ear wires, of which you get 3 pairs. If you feel like making a bracelet, you get a really stylish antique gold hook-and-loop clasp. As a cherry on top, you get 2 lovely top-quality sunflower charms, custom-coated by our manufacturer in Europe.

To top the collection off, there’s one more product, which speaks to Gina’s incredible creativity and individual approach to each collection: you get a piece of hand-dyed silk ribbon to use in your beading or simply hang your pendant from. How amazing!
